This website is operated by Elle McDonald, trading as Elle & Co. Marketing ("we", "us"). We take the same approach to your information as we do to our client work: confidential by default, and no games.
When you use the contact form we receive the details you type in: your name, email address, business name if you give one, where you are in your journey, and your message. We use these for one purpose — to read your enquiry and reply to you. That's our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and it's the only reason we have your details.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. The only thing stored on your device is your answer to our cookie notice itself, kept in your browser so we don't ask you twice — that's it. If we ever introduce analytics in future, they will stay switched off unless you've said yes first.
We don't sell, rent, or swap your details with anyone, we don't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for, and we don't use your enquiry for anything except talking to you.
Form submissions are delivered straight to our own business mailbox by email. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and our email is provided by Google Workspace — both act as processors handling your message so it can reach us. If you'd rather skip the form entirely, you can email us directly at elle@elleandco.marketing.
We keep enquiry emails for as long as they're useful to the conversation and our records, and we delete them when they're not. If we start working together, the information you've shared becomes part of our confidential client records.
Anything you share with us about your business — in an enquiry, a session, or ongoing work — is treated as confidential. Where client results or words appear on this site, they appear with permission and with identifying details kept to what the client agreed.
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email elle@elleandco.marketing and we'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
